The significance of the "UNC Blue" colorway in the Air Jordan series hardly needs further explanation. Whether it's a retail release or a PE, these colorways are highly coveted by sneaker enthusiasts.
Recently, there have been rumors that a "UNC" colorway of the Air Jordan 3 will make its debut early next year.

The inspiration for this design comes from Michael Jordan's well-known "court superstition" of wearing his college UNC shorts underneath his Chicago Bulls shorts during games.
However, based on the current renderings, the UNC Blue on this pair appears slightly lighter than the classic, pure UNC Blue that everyone is familiar with. Despite this subtle difference, it doesn’t detract from the shoe's overall appeal; the design remains visually impressive.

For the truest representation of the classic UNC Blue, one must look to the Player Exclusive (PE) colorways. Recently, three authentic UNC PE designs were unveiled overseas, leaving sneakerheads drooling.
Among them, the Air Jordan 6 stands out with the most intricate details. Although the image doesn’t show the shoe in its entirety, the numbers on the shoe correspond to the years of UNC’s six national championships.
