Kevin Durant's current signature sneakers are already in their 17th iteration, and today we get our first look at the upcoming Nike KD 18, along with news about its release date.
The KD 18 draws inspiration from the classic Nike Air Humara, originally launched in 1997 as an innovative shoe designed for trail running, combining outdoor performance with a bold aesthetic.
Currently, we only have textual descriptions and renderings of the KD 18. This sneaker blends nostalgic design with modern innovation, resulting in a dynamic basketball shoe.
The highly anticipated cushioning technology features a Cushlon midsole paired with a front Air Zoom unit, which is showcased in the renderings. The upper consists of various materials combined with a TPU cage, providing stability and support while ensuring breathability through mesh panels.
These renderings likely serve as internal communication material for Nike, reflecting the shoe's design elements and features, although they may differ from the actual materials and texture. The release date is set for Summer 2025, and we expect to see more actual images soon.
