The USA Men's Basketball Team, led by superstars LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant, made their Olympic debut!
Facing off against Nikola Jokić's Serbian team, they secured a strong start with a 110-84 victory.

Throughout the game, the competition was intense. Kevin Durant entered "Death Mode," showcasing an almost unbelievable shooting accuracy. He scored 23 points, hitting 8 of his 9 attempts.
As a major event watched worldwide, LeBron James debuted his latest signature shoe, the Nike LeBron 22, during this opening game. The second "Dream Team" colorway was revealed, giving us a comprehensive preview of the shoe's full design.

The entire shoe features the iconic navy blue, white, and red color scheme of Team USA. The upper showcases extensive Safari print, complementing the oversized Nike Swoosh that runs across the side, creating a highly recognizable and visually striking design.

The color of the midsole on the inner side of the shoe seamlessly blends with the white leather upper. The dynamic and smooth lines immediately bring to mind the classic Nike Air Big Flyer Force.

In addition, the familiar crown logo is featured, further emphasizing its status as LeBron's signature shoe.
The outsole is divided into front and rear sections, covered with traditional multi-directional patterns, ensuring reliable traction performance.

In addition to the all-black and white-blue-red colorways LeBron previously wore during training, U.S. women's basketball star A'ja Wilson has showcased a new white-red colorway.

Apart from the similarly sleek and striking design, a closer look reveals large perforations around the toebox for breathability. The inner lining of the shoe features substantial foam padding, ensuring excellent ankle support and comfort, as always.

The most intriguing aspect, the midsole technology, remains undisclosed.
However, as Nike's flagship signature shoe, we can speculate by looking back at the setups of the previous two models and the recently released Air Jordan 39.
For the LBJ20, the midsole configuration included:

This setup provides a glimpse of what we might expect from the LeBron 22's midsole technology.

For the LBJ21, the midsole configuration included:
